IDEA4ISTANBUL

The Industrial Design Ecosystem Axis for Istanbul (IDEA4ISTANBUL) Project is co-financed by the Department of European Union Financial Programmes under the Directorate General for External Relations of the EU and the European Development Fund within the scope of the policy of supporting the economic development of the pre-accession countries. The project is carried out under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Türkiye under the Competitive Sectors Program.

The aim of the IDEA4ISTANBUL Project is to increase Türkiye's global competitiveness by strengthening the ties between the industry and industrial design sectors with the added value created by industrial design. Within the scope of the project, it aims to launch a "Creative Industry Center" to strengthen the industrial design ecosystem in Istanbul and neighboring cities by supporting capacity-building activities for SMEs, large-scale enterprises, designers, and entrepreneurs.

In this context, ISO ETP was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of ISO to undertake the execution of IDEA4ISTANBUL and started its activities in October 2022. In order to fulfill the objectives of IDEA4ISTANBUL, ISO ETP, Türkiye's most advanced industrial design and prototyping center in terms of the integrated services it offers with its high-tech equipment and laboratories, provides solutions to companies and entrepreneurs who have a design or product idea or want to develop their products with modern modeling and laboratory services, high-tech machinery and equipment; industrial design consultancy, intellectual property rights, user experience, design verification, and prototyping services.
